Extremely Dark Atoms for VNL-2016 on Windows 7

In VNL 2016 we have seen some instances of extremely dark atoms on Windows 7. This is caused by an outdated Intel graphics driver. It can be fixed by updating the graphics driver to a newer version. So far, we have only seen it on laptops that have two GPU’s (Intel and NVIDIA), and in that case you can also go to the NVIDIA Control Panel and choose the NVIDIA GPU to always be preferred, effectively turning off the Intel GPU. The final, and not recommended, option, is to turn off shader graphics in VNL. This solution will degrade the graphical performance of VNL, so we strongly recommend one of the other two solutions.
